Silver Stacking Ring Making Workshop

Make your own silver stacking rings in this hands-on jewellery making workshop. In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn essential silversmithing techniques including sizing, shaping, soldering, and polishing as you create a set of perfectly fitting rings. With step-by-step guidance throughout, this silver ring making class is ideal for beginners and those with some jewellery-making experience.

The class takes place at our Basingstoke studio and is taught by Laura, who has over 16 years’ experience teaching jewellery making.

What’s included:

• Use of all tools and equipment in the studio

• Consumables such as solder

• Expert guidance throughout the workshop

Materials:
Silver is charged per usage on the day. You’ll be able to choose from a selection of different wire styles during the session and will have the option to add your own textures and patterns to personalise your rings.

Estimated cost of silver for a set of 3 rings £25 – £30 depending on size and design.

Timing:

• Allow 1.5 – 2 hours to make a single ring

• Many students make more than one — our current record is 4 rings in 3 hours!

Cost:

• £60 for the workshop (includes tools, tuition, and consumables)

• Silver charged separately per usage on the day

Age Restrictions:
Classes are suitable for ages 16+. Participants aged 14–16 must be accompanied by an adult who is also booked onto the class. Please contact us before booking to discuss suitability for under 14s.
