Over the 10 weeks of the Beginners Silver Jewellery Making course you will learn traditional jewellery making techniques including soldering, sawing, texturing, doming and making a chain.

You will take home your first silver ring at the end of the first lesson!

This new class gives you the chance to make either an interlocking ring or pendant — or even one that can be worn as both! Also known as Russian Wedding Rings, these designs are beautifully tactile, elegant, and fun to wear.

In this session, you’ll make a set of three silver rings which we will then interlock together to make your finished piece. As you create your design each step will be broken down clearly, making this class perfect for complete beginners as well as those with a little experience. You’ll leave wearing your gorgeous new handmade jewellery!

Beginners Silver Art Clay Workshop – £110 – Including 7 grams of silver clay

On the Beginners Silver Clay Day you will learn how to shape, texture and mould the clay in the morning to make pendants and /or earrings. Following a break for lunch which will allow the clay time to dry we will file, smooth and fire the pieces before polishing.

This session is a great introduction to jewellery making and suitable for complete beginners as well as if you have some experience.

Intermediate Silver Art Clay – £140  – Including 12 grams of clay and some sparkly gems!

On the Intermediate Silver Clay Day we will first have a recap of the Beginners course, following this we will look at taking your skills a step further by setting stones into the clay and using the Art Clay syringe clay.

Total price £110 which includes one 7 gram pack of silver clay, a 5 gram syringe of silver clay and a few stones to set.  More packs of clay will be available to buy on the day as well as chains and findings such as earring wires.

To do this course we ask that you have previously taken our Beginners Silver Art Clay class and you are happy with the basics of using the Silver Art Clay.

Earring Making Workshop

In this class we will make a pair earrings (or perhaps 2 depending on your design!) Your earrings can be either studs or dangly, and you will learn how to shape, saw, file, shape, solder and polish the silver.

Perfect for beginners or if you have some experience. We will break each stage down step by step throughout the class so you can leave wearing your newly created earrings!

This class is £70 and includes all materials to make your silver studs or drop earrings.

In this class we will make a silver pendant and set it with a gemstone of your choice.

This class is suitable for beginners and is an introduction to stone setting techniques.

When booking please choose your gemstone from  Amethyst, Aquamarine, Garnet, Amazonite, Kyanite or Rose Quartz. If your chosen gem isn’t available we will source something similar for you.

This class is £80 which includes the silver and gemstone to make your pendant. A selection of chains will be available to purchase on the day if required.

Intermediate Silver Jewellery Making – 10 week course

In the first term of the intermediate course we will cover making spinning rings, setting cabochon gemstones and developing the skills we have been building up this term.  The intermediate courses have mixed abilities in each class and the different levels work on different projects.

There will also be a chance for you to work on individual projects as you develop your skills and your own design ideas.

Make a Silver Chain Link Bracelet

In this class we will make a silver chain link bracelet to fit you perfectly.  You will learn how to size, saw, file, shape, solder and polish the silver to make your bracelet.

This class is suitable for beginners or if you have some experience of jewellery making.  We will break each stage down step by step throughout the class so you can leave wearing your new creation!

This class is £125 includes the silver to make your chain link bracelet  We will show you how to make a clasp and have a selection of pre made ones to choose from if you prefer.  More silver can be purchased on the day if required.

You can texture some or all of your silver links to make your bracelet unique to you!
